Role Overview

As a Senior Game Designer on No Limit Drag Racing 2 , you'll have a key leadership role in defining, shaping, and refining the game's vision and mechanics. You'll design core features—from progression systems to live events—that keep players engaged for the long haul. Working closely with engineers, artists, and production teams, you'll also leverage player data and feedback to iterate rapidly, ensuring that each update raises the bar on quality and excitement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vision & Direction
  • Drive the overarching design strategy for new and existing features, focusing on both short-term wins and long-term player retention.
  • Core Gameplay & Systems
  • Conceptualize and document racing mechanics, progression loops, competitive modes, and monetization systems. Ensure these systems align with the game's overall vision and audience expectations.
  • Data-Informed Iteration
  • Collaborate with analytics to set success metrics, analyze player behavior, and iterate on designs to optimize engagement and retention.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Unity engineers, artists, and QA to ensure smooth implementation of features. Communicate design intentions clearly and resolve any design or technical challenges that arise.
  • Documentation & Communication
  • Create detailed game design documents (GDDs), user flows, wireframes, and prototypes. Present design concepts to leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Player-Centric Approach
  • Conduct user research and gather community feedback. Use these insights to refine game balance, introduce new features, and maintain a fun, competitive experience.
  • Mentorship & Leadership
  • Guide junior designers, providing feedback on design concepts and ensuring best practices. Encourage knowledge sharing to maintain a strong, cohesive design culture.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional game design experience, including at least one live-operated mobile title .
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing core game loops , progression systems, and monetization features.
  • Proven ability to analyze player data , identify design opportunities, and iterate effectively.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to translate design goals to cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale.
  • Passion for racing games or related genres is a strong plus (familiarity with vehicle physics, competitive modes, or live events).
  • Experience with Unity or other game engines is beneficial.
