Join a busy and award-winning Technology department responsible for providing technology support to both staff and library patrons. Working under the supervision of the Technology Coordinator, the Senior Library Associate – Technology will be primarily responsible for the set-up, installation and troubleshooting of staff and public computers and other related library technologies, conducting routine software and hardware maintenance and upgrades, making changes to the library website, and conducting technology trainings and programs for staff and library partons including outreach to local organizations. This position also works regular shifts at the public service desks.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team-player with excellent customer service skills and knowledge of current and emerging technologies, particularly as they are applied in a public library setting. Candidates should have experience troubleshooting issues on Windows and Mac operating systems, be well-versed in Google apps on Andriod and iOS platforms and have a working knowledge of icloud services, as well as IOS mail app. Experience with Wordpress, HTML, and/or CSS and Adobe Creative Cloud apps is a plus. To be considered for this position, an applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree and five or more years of relevant technology and library experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Rate: $33.24 per hour, 35 hour work week, with an excellent work experience.
