Position: Service Technician

DFW Fire Equipment is searching for in-house, service technicians of all experience levels to add to our team. This position will be full-time (40+) hours per week at our Dallas, Texas location.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform the maintenance and repair of fire and safety equipment, to include but not limited to: portable fire extinguishers and fire suppression system bottles, in accordance with applicable NFPA codes, state codes and regulations and manufacturer requirements.
• Complete related inspection reports and other work order documents pertaining to services rendered and job status
• Attend periodic training programs for our equipment manufacturers and will become certified under the Safety Control, LLC. name
• Communicate with the shop foreman pertaining to their schedule and progress throughout the day

Qualifications:

• A valid driver's license (required)
• The ability to complete and pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting, which will allow them to access sensitive locations and to obtain their fire extinguisher apprentice permit issued by the Texas State Fire Marshal's Office (required)
• Must possess a clean driving record (required)
• Basic hand tool and mechanical knowledge and experience (required)
