The
Shop Technician is responsible for assisting the shop productivity through various stages of the production and repair processes.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities - Use various hand tools, torque wrench, presses, air compressor, hoist, sandblaster, paint gun, grinder, band saw, and other equipment.
- Operate power tools.
- Prep products for assembly.
- Assemble products in various stages of production.
- Welding products in various stages of production, dependent upon skill level.
- Operates various machines throughout the assembly and production process.
- Intake and disassemble engine cylinder heads and various products serviced by location.
- General shop responsibilities.
- Maintains a clean work environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to repeat motions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Follow all safety policies.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.
