Sr. Designer

Description:

As our Sr. Designer, you will take complex problems relating to digital design and turn them into simple, easy to understand, and easy to use digital experiences. This role involves using real-world data and insights to design concepts, wireframes, and both low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes for a range of clients in multiple verticals.

Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and prototyping elegant and intuitive experiences for Webstacks and its clients using design tools like Figma, spearheading client-facing website redesign projects, building and maintaining complex Design Systems for various CMS platforms, identifying user needs, reducing friction between software and users, collaborating closely with engineers, leading and mentoring junior team members, and contributing to all stages of the design product from user research to final delivery.

Requirements:

A portfolio showcasing your design work and strong technical skills focused on website design; 4+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products & web experiences across multiple industries; comprehensive experience building complex Design Systems in Figma; experience working with brands across various industries and providing innovative design & brand solutions; strong communication skills, especially for presenting and communicating design rationale; understanding of modern technologies in animation, CMS, and website building; a self-motivated attitude with a desire to work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment with innovative clients; mentorship and managerial experience within creative teams is a plus.
