PA firm located in Duluth, Georgia is seeking a staff accountant. Must have CPA firm experience . This position will work directly with our small business clients and individual tax clients providing bookkeeping and tax preparation. Strong people skills are necessary.

Job Responsibilities:
· Tax Preparation : Assist in the preparation of tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Bookkeeping : Must have Quickbooks experience.
Payroll Tax Preparation
Sales Tax Preparatio n
· Research : Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and rulings to provide support for tax planning and compliance efforts.
· Documentation : Maintain organized and accurate workpapers, records, and documentation related to tax engagements.
· Client Support : Work closely with clients to gather necessary information and documents, answer inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
· Assistance to Senior Team Members : Collaborate with senior tax professionals to support their efforts in tax planning, strategy development, and compliance activities.
· Continuous Learning : Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and actively participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
· · Strong interest in tax and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
· Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
· Basic knowledge of tax laws and regulations is a plus.
· MUST HAVE CPA FIRM EXPERIENCE.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
