Who are we hiring? The Kansas City Current is looking for a matchday Stage Manager to assist with the execution of game entertainment elements. The ideal candidate would have prior sports experience, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for game entertainment. This is a paid, part-time role and event based.

What will you do?

• Execute game entertainment elements like National Anthem performances and other pregame or halftime activations on a match-by-match basis.
• Assist in-stadium host with live hits and movements within the stadium.
• Coordinate execution of partnership activations like giveaways, contestant selection, and overall fan engagement.
• Maintain close communication with the Director, Stadium Production to ensure the show is running on-time.
• Be a representative of the KC Current brand while interacting with talent and fans.

What do you need to succeed?

• Prior stage manager experience, preferably within sports.
• Have positive interactions with performers, fans, talent, and match day participants.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and team-oriented environment.
• Availability for most KC Current home matches.

Special requirements of the Job:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Must be available for approximately 80% of all major events held at CPKC Stadium including Kansas City Current matches and other major events that may be added.
• Must be willing to work outside in a range of different climates.
• Must be available to attend all necessary in-person training as a prerequisite for employment.
• Ability to stand, walk, or travel up and down stairs throughout the entire event.
• Must be willing to perform other duties, functions, special projects, and responsibilities as assigned by supervision.
