Choice Schools Associates is seeking a highly skilled System Integration and Data Manager to lead the coordination, optimization, and reliability of the systems that power our 16-school charter network. This role serves as the central integrator across all operational, academic, and technology platforms-ensuring data accuracy, seamless system connectivity, and effective user support.

The ideal candidate is a systems thinker, excellent troubleshooter, strong project manager, and proactive collaborator who can translate organizational needs into clean, consistent, well-designed processes.

About the Role

The System Integration & Data Manager ensures Choice Schools' core systems work cohesively and efficiently. This role manages cross-system integrations, oversees user account provisioning, maintains data integrity, supports central office teams, and coordinates with external vendors to ensure high-quality implementation and support.

You'll work closely with the Director of Technology as well as academic, HR, finance, and school leadership teams to ensure consistent data structures, system configurations, and secure workflows across the entire organization.

Key Responsibilities System Integration & Workflow Management
  • Manage and maintain integrations across all systems, including Rippling, Clever, Google Workspace, MiDataHub, MIPSE, curriculum platforms, and more.

  • Maintain system architecture diagrams, data flow maps, and integration documentation.

  • Ensure accurate data synchronization across platforms.

  • Build and maintain automated workflows to support HR, Finance, Academic, and operational processes.

  • Maintain data consistency through standardized metadata, fields, and mapping.

Technical Support (Tier 1-2)
  • Provide technical support for systems, software, hardware, printers, VoIP, and network issues across multiple device types.

  • Troubleshoot data mismatches, rostering issues, and platform connectivity errors.

  • Assist with LAN/WAN design, performance, and security.

  • Support backups, disaster recovery processes, and IT continuity plans.

  • Manage the Tech Help Desk and coordinate technical support from internal and external teams.

  • Maintain hardware/software inventory and documentation.

Data Standards, Quality, & Governance
  • Establish and enforce data standards, naming conventions, permissions, and structures.

  • Conduct regular data-quality reviews across user accounts, enrollment, courses, and program codes.

  • Ensure FERPA compliance and strong data privacy/security protocols.

  • Translate department needs into system configurations or integrations.

  • Manage user-access requests to ensure proper security and control.

Vendor & Contract Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all technology vendors and system partners.

  • Coordinate troubleshooting, updates, integrations, and product enhancements.

  • Track vendor tickets, follow up on outstanding items, and maintain a vendor communication log.

  • Support contract renewals by gathering system usage and performance data.

  • Communicate vendor updates, outages, patches, or new features to internal stakeholders.

Training, Communication, & Staff Support
  • Train staff on systems, dashboards, data standards, and workflow processes.

  • Create guides, videos, and documentation to support system use.

  • Proactively communicate system updates, deadlines, or workflow expectations to all users.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in network administration, systems management, or similar role-education setting preferred.

  • Proficiency with routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).

  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

  • Strong understanding of security best practices.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Google Admin Console, and Microsoft Active Directory.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair laptops, MacBooks, Chromebooks, iPads, MFPs, servers, VoIP systems, etc.

  • High attention to detail, especially around data integrity and security.
