Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel Medical Lab Technician for a travel job in Terrell, Texas.
Job Description & Requirements Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent
• One-year of full-time phlebotomy work preferred but not required
• Possess valid driver’s license
• Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements
• Must submit to HHSC required drug test
• Must submit to HHSC required fingerprinting
• Must complete facility and HHSC required training
Responsibilities:
• Perform phlebotomy on patients of all ages.
• Perform computer data entry.
• Process and package specimens for transport to reference lab.
• Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, Joint Commission guidelines, CMS Standards, TSH Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives.
Requested Schedule:
• Laboratory technician will typically work 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM (Mon-Fri), but shift pattern is subject to change as determined by the Lab supervisor to meet needs of the hospital.
• No holiday, after-hour or weekend shifts
