About the Opportunity: - Job Title: Upholsterer - Pay Rate: $22.00/Hour - Location: Ramsey, MN - Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 3:30PM-2AM - Position Type: Temp to Hire Requirements and Qualifications: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Ability to operate staple gun, heat gun, vinyl cutter and hand tools (razor, wire cutter, staple remover). 3. Ability to operate computer in order to run label maker. 4. Ability to effectively communicate in English (read and understand). 5. Lift up to 5 lbs. frequently, 20 lbs. occasionally and 40 lbs. rarely. 6. Walk, stand, bend, twist/turn, reach overhead and grasp tools as necessary. 7. Operate vinyl picker and pallet jack. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and install upholstery materials, including wood, foam, and material. 2. Layout and cut materials; operate cutting machine. 3. Stage materials for jobs per work order. 4. Use oven to prepare vinyl prior to stapling. 5. Staple vinyl to pad using staple gun. 6. Assemble pieces following established procedures; attach backing and punch holes. 7. Batch finished pads by work order and place in appropriate area. 8. Box pads as needed. 9. Make labels using computer and label maker. 10. Check work for quality. 11. Operate vinyl picker and pallet jack. 12. Perform other duties as assigned.
