We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workday Financials Consultant to join our delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, implementing, testing, and supporting Workday Financial Management modules. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that align with client objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead or support Workday Financials implementations and post-production support projects.
Conduct requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and configuration of modules such as:
Financial Accounting (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Fixed Assets
Expenses
Procurement
Projects & Grants
Translate business needs into functional Workday configurations and workflows.
Collaborate with integration consultants on financial integrations with banks, vendors, and third-party systems.
Conduct functional testing, support UAT, and troubleshoot issues related to financial data flows and reporting.
Provide knowledge transfer and end-user training as required.
Support period close activities and financial reporting.
Stay updated on Workday product releases and recommend improvements to clients.
4+ years of experience in Workday Financials, with at least 1 full-cycle implementation.
Strong understanding of Workday Financials business processes and reporting capabilities.
Hands-on configuration experience in at least two key modules (e.g., AP, GL, Assets, Procurement).
Familiarity with Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and EIBs is a plus.
Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
Workday Financials Certification(s).
Experience with Workday Prism, Adaptive Planning, or integrations with legacy ERP systems.
Prior consulting experience in a client-facing role.
