The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist administers intravenous, spinal and other anesthetics during surgical, obstetrical and other medical and dental procedures. In addition, CRNAs monitor and document the progress of these patients as well as take appropriate actions to maintain their stability before, during, and after the procedure.
