A state-of-the-art hospital is seeking a Clinical Manager of Microbiology Laboratory to lead and manage their microbiology laboratory department. This is a full-time, permanent role in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team.
Known for their vast clinical services including laboratory services, surgical services, and neurological services, this state-of-the-art hospital has provided care to its community members for over 150 years. With over 250 beds, this prestigious hospital is fully equipped with cutting-edge technology to provide individualized care for any patient who walks through their hospital’s doors, no matter how complex the medical need may be.
The Clinical Manager of Microbiology Laboratory will directly report to the Clinical Director of Microbiology Laboratory. This individual must provide any pressing updates regarding the status of the laboratory to their superior and will be expected to work together with this individual to guarantee all rules and regulations are being followed. Serving as a direct leader to the Clinical Assistant Manager of Microbiology Laboratory, the Clinical Manager of Microbiology Laboratory must be readily available to provide their assistance and guidance during any pressing and/or critical situation. The Clinical Manager of Microbiology Laboratory will serve as a mentor to the various Clinical Supervisors of Microbiology and Microbiology Laboratory Technicians and must be set the tone of a cohesive and united department that’s main focus to provide excellent care for the hospital’s patients.
The Clinical Manager of Microbiology Laboratory will be expected to help manage and provide direct oversight to the microbiology laboratory department while their team performs various clinical assessments. Equipped with cutting-edge technology within their laboratory, the Clinical Manager of Microbiology Laboratory will be required to be well-versed in any and all clinical equipment utilized within their department. The Clinical Manager of Microbiology Laboratory must be regularly informed regarding the work being administered within the laboratory, and must be able to highlight their team’s strengths, and pinpoint any weaknesses and provide the necessary training to address any matter.
