Corporate Finance Fellow

Who you are:

You are an analytically-minded MBA or data analyst who has the startup bug. You are curious and love modeling. (You may have a bumper sticker that says ‘I excel at Excel'' ). You love being given challenging questions and the freedom to solve them.

You'll join IMPaCT as a part-time Corporate Finance Fellow to support our mission and growth. This position is fully remote and work will average 10-20 hours per week. You'll work closely with IMPaCT's VP Finance and Business Operations and will also interface regularly with other senior leaders. 
What you'll do:

You will play a key role in supporting IMPaCT's business by being the financial and analytics powerhouse. When answers are needed, you jump into action! 

• Create ad hoc analyses to support the business. Focusing on spend management, budgeting, cash flow, and sales forecasting
• Support customer needs around ad hoc financial modeling and ROI analysis
• Support Finance Leadership in IMPaCT's financial audit
• Update and create templates to be used throughout the organization
• Help maintain and update existing models and dashboards
• Support AR, including invoicing and followup

What you bring:

• MBA or Data Science graduated degree (in progress) from a top tier school 
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills. You can take vague problems and use analytical skills to identify the data and methods required to yield an answer
• Excellent communication skills. You can work across teams to gather data and you can communicate the takeaways of your investigations 
• Strong Excel skills. You get excited when you have a task that requires modeling and/or analysis in Excel
• You do what you say you'll do. When you commit to a deadline, you do what's needed to hit that deadline
• Roll-up-your-sleeves orientation. No job is too big or too small for you to help!

Nice to Haves:

• General familiarity with Salesforce
• General familiarity with GAAP
• Familiarity with Quickbooks
