Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain HVAC systems and components.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems.
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC faults and malfunctions.
  • Ensure compliance with HVAC safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all HVAC work.

Education & Training:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in HVAC technology.
  • Certification or licensure as an HVAC technician.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems and codes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

HVAC Technicians are vital to maintaining a comfortable and safe environment within the organization. Their work ensures that temperature and air quality are regulated, which can significantly impact customer satisfaction.

Key Systems:

  • HVAC Control Systems for monitoring and regulating heating, cooling, and ventilation.
  • Building Management Systems (BMS) for integrated control of HVAC and other building systems.
  • Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking and managing maintenance tasks.
  • Energy Management Systems (EMS) for optimizing energy use in HVAC operations.
