Midway Nissan is looking for an experienced Title Clerk to join our growing team. The Title Clerk at Midway Nissan is a full-time, individual contributor role with responsibility for processing vehicle titles in accordance with legal requirements in a timely, efficient manner. Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy of customer data and titles
• Ensure documents are properly notarized
• Enter customer information into the system accurately
• Obtain additional information from customers if necessary
• Process clean and salvage titles
• Register vehicles in accordance with local laws and regulations
• Handle refunds and document discrepancies
• Submit titles to the applicable governmental agency
• Research title problems and discrepancies
• Maintain records of transactions up to date
• Assist customers in completing documents
• Scout vendors for optimal services and cost saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to comprehend and execute complex instructions and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of titling and registration processes and regulations
• Ability to verify accuracy of information
• Excellent customer service
• Attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with automobile titling
• Ability to maintain accurate filing systems
